Today was the last day of Term 2 (yippie yippie yay) as well as the last day of our favourite math teacher. I firmly believe patient and competent teachers don’t come by everyday and it was 33production’s greatest fortune (Maybe Karma! Hah!) to have had the opportunity of being Miss Lee’s (No. Not Mei Kay. Wing Kei's) students. I think for many of us, Math lessons are never going to be the same ever again.

Yes the guys are still going to be noisy and obnoxious and go WOOH HOO loudly every single lousy time they get a question correct, yes we’ll still get scolded by Chin, yes Kristy would still touch us, but somehow, there will be something missing. Perhaps it’s the comfort in knowing the fact, that no matter how asinine a question we have to ask, there’s always someone behind, quietly standing, waiting, and always ready to answer. That is something, I’m almost sure everyone would miss.

It was great while it lasted, having such a wonderful teacher. It was almost, magical. Perhaps what Baey said is true, “It won’t be magical if you have it forever. It’s only magical, because it comes, impresses you, and then goes away. That’s what magic is.” I think what we’ve experienced in the last five months is nothing short of magical and for that, we thank you.

Dear Miss Lee, (if you ever read this)

Thank you for everything, this magical experience we’ve had over the past months, for always answering our queries, and being ever so patient, even though our understanding of the subject at sporadic (okay more like regular) periods may be nothing short of idiotic. But nevertheless, you were always patient and never failed to take the trouble to make sure we understood and for that, I think our gratitude can never be sufficiently expressed in words.

For all that you’ve given us (though it may not seem much), we can only wish you the best in return.

Love,
33productions

PS: We still firmly believe Hwa Chong doesn’t need/deserve you! ):
PPS: We really hope you like the shirt!
